NEVER EVER THOUGHT !!!!!!!
There was not an iota of thinking if any time I would go to Varanasi and stay for more than a week !!!
Thanks to Dr.Bhaskar and Kala for putting up with me for the last seven days. They made the trip more interesting. I am just going on a freak notes of my last seven days at Varanasi.
Day 1- 16th August 2018
Boarded the flight to Varanasi via Delhi. Jet airways :) no questions asked, Delayed departure from Delhi by 3 hours. Reached Varanasi at the venue by 7 pm. All famished and tired because of the long wait and travel truly unaware what's the next day dawns on us. A kinda peaceful feeling but curious mind. After settling a bit, had dinner ! tears ! why! a long time love for Amma's arisi upma comes to mind while eating the upma.
The chieftain of the family Shri Ramana Ji (:) discusses with us what would be my routine from the day one and says smilingly, 'you have to leave at 6 am to Allahabad and have a couple of rituals to finish there that included a mid stream dip at Thiruveni Sangamam and a grueling travel by road for about 124 Kms.
returning on the same day :) My travel weariness is just taken for granted.!!!!!
A simple functional room, Rectangle in size had a living companion who had no idea about the room buddies was happily running up and down.Being the first day, rather night of the ritual vacation, tolerance for fellow being was the first lesson. Guess who was the room mate, a tiny mouse with it's twinkling scared eyes was running in the corners of the room.
Dr Bhaskar smartly closes the hole on of the corners with a wooden plank and with a beaming smile declares the problem solved! not realizing this guy is much more smart and has an entry through the closed window gap!!
